How I wish I could be at that Wes Anderson exhibit and the Agnes Varda exhibit... today's newsletter was my vacation! And also, I wish I could come to the SF Jewish Film Festival. Later this month I'm profiling one of the filmmakers, Marisa Fox, whose doc Underground Mother was one of those who lost their NEH grant this year. The doc is incredibly moving and you should see it!
