If you’re in the Bay Area, this is last two weeks to see Ancient Wisdom for a Future Ecology: Trees, Time & Technology at di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art SF—just reviewed as a “Datebook Pick” by Tony Bravo in the SF Chronicle. After four years of work (two years before it opened in LA and two more expanding it for SF), it’s rewarding to have it recognized by a respected Arts and Culture editor and critics from publications including Artnet, Forbes, LA Times, Hyperallergic, Cultured, White Hot, 7x7, Roborant, and Print Magazine, who have written insightful perspectives on the exhibition.
Back in 2016, I was interviewed remotely by the brilliant Krista Tippett, from the On Being podcast. Last week, she came to SF to interview us both live at the exhibition for a sold-out event. It was a wide-ranging dialogue on art, ecology, time, philosophy, and relationships. Nothing beats being in person. The recording will be shared soon.

We would love for you to join us for the Closing Night Celebration & Benefit for di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art on Saturday, April 11, 6–9 pm
It will be a DANCE PARTY (because we need to dance) with live music by a talented local band, The Hot Einsteins, and drinks by Lady Victory, all under a disco ball over the art. It will be my birthday that week (April 8th) so my birthday wish is that you can join us if you can, or donate to di Rosa if you can’t be there. Arts organizations need our extra love and support and di Rosa not only has such a great collection of Northern California art but wants to update and expand it and continue to grow with this new museum location in SF. We have loved working with them!
All proceeds benefit di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art.
